A Travellerspoint blog

Friday, August 15

Here we go, back to the USA. But first we have to stop at Harland, NB and see, drive on, the worlds longest covered bridge. It is 3000 feet long and in very good repair. We were able to drive the motorhomes across it. It is the main tourist attraction for the city, so they are repairing it to last.

Next we headed to Houlton and U.S. Customs. Not much of a line, about a 15 minute wait. Passing thru was a breeze and then to the fuel stop. I took nearly 100 gallons, but is was over $100 dollars cheaper to fill in the US.

We are back at Timberland Acres in Trenton, ME. This was our starting point some 34 days ago. We have mail and packages to pick up and a thorough cleaning of the coaches before continueing on our jouney.
