Left Santa Rosa at 0730, weather clear temp about 78. Not much traffic, even trucks. Instead of going to Enid, we went thru Ok City, stopped at the Flying J for fuel and then on to Choctaw and the KOA. put on another 434 miles.
Great rv park, lots of trees, grass and open spaces. The lodge house had entertainment in the evening.

We left Sun City at 0545, and the temperature was already up to 82. Went thru Flagstaff, Gallup and planned to sty in Albuequerque. Fueled at the Flying J, $4.47/gal. Since it was too early to stop we continued on to Santa Rosa.
Good weather and clear skies all the way.

Here is it 0ver 100 again, actually 112 for a hight today. Nearly all the items are packed and I have been busy following the crests of the floods as they are expected to move south. We will not be impacted until Sat or Sun. At present, planning to cross the Mississippe in the St Louis area. However that may change. We did purchase a weather alarm radio, so that will ease our minds while sleeping at least. We have satellite radio and tv so can keep track of the storms as we are moving.

Hot here in Phoenix, up to 112 today, but loading in the heat is better than wading thru 3 feet of water like back in Iowa. Most of the items are loaded and the coach is organized. Food goes in tomorrow and then OFF we go on Tuesday, June 17

Here it is June 2 and preparation is underway with the coach and tow car. The basement has been repacked for more efficient use and storage. The Jeep is in the process of being organized.
I have to make a trip to Minneapolis on June 10-12 for RNPA business. Then back home and off we go on June 17.
